About me

Dear visitor,

thank you for dancing into my world!

Here you have the chance to find your own tact, inspiration & eventually your connection to the higher spheres of beauty…

Of course, you may also dance yourself out…. But if you join me, which would make me more than happy, in this world of all possibilities, you might decide to choose dance as your own path of knowledge and self-discovery, becoming either a successful dancer, or a top  “dance native speaker”

I have been in the ballet scene for more than 40 years: first as pupil, then as international principal ballet dancer, teacher, coach, consultant, director, juror and cultural ambassador; in 21 years I have danced over 2000 performances of great choreographers, on the most renowned stages in the world, had the most well-known  ballet partners of my generation, I won prizes at international ballet competitions and was honored with significant cultural awards. I  travelled all around of the world and developed over time deep respect and understanding for nature, culture, language, and people.

Now, I am ready to share my experience with you. Looking forward to meet you!

Reviews

27.10.1990, The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, C-12, Dance Review, Simona Noja is compelling in Ballet Rotaru´s Giselle, by Helen Smith „If anyone were handing them out, Simona Noja should win another medal for her heart-rending performance Friday of the betrayed peasant girl in Ballet Rotaru´s thoroughly satisfying production of Giselle. Ms. Noja, who took the silver at the Jackson (Miss.) International Ballet Competition in June, was particularly  compelling in the ballet´s otherworldly second act… Ms. Noja’s Giselle-as-spirit is as effervescent and intangible as the moon kissed clouds that light the grave from which she arises. This woundly, lovely creature (bowed head and shoulders, soft expressive arms, exquisitely light steps)  also has the strength and will to outlast the impervious Queen Myrtha… and her legion of Willis – unhappy spirits who died before their wedding day and take revenge on men by forcing them to dance to death… More points for Ms. Noja for her interpretation of this dramatic scene. Giselle, pulling down her hair, gets a vacant look in her eyes and alternates between sad memories of her romance … and lashing out at the feet of her friends with Albrecht´s sword. Ms. Noja made us feel her despair – both as a dancer and as an actress.“

13.12.2004 Independent, cotidian national, pag 1 & 6: (…)
