The Cultural Foundation “SIMONA NOJA” is an NGO based in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania, Europe and was initiated by the principal dancer Simona Noja-Nebyla. Since 2002, the foundation is continuously supporting young emerging ballet dancers in Romania and abroad.
Therefore, through the platform Balet Transilvania, a meeting point for young and well-known artists, the foundation receives public recognition. Above all, for the organization of masterclasses, symposiums, and festivals, the City Hall from Cluj-Napoca provides support.
The European Festival of Ballet Schools “GRAND ASSEMBLÉ” takes place every autumn in Cluj-Napoca. Its first edition took place in 2015. During the last six editions, over 500 participants from over 30 countries gathered in Cluj-Napoca to celebrate the art of ballet.
